A woman uses her intelligence to find reasons to support her intuition.

G. K. Chesterton

(Haha…)

This is a sketch I did the other day with the intention of figuring out what colors to use to develop skin tones, which I find particularly challenging.  I think I still have a lot of work to do in that direction.  :-)  Just looking at the picture I took, for example, I see I neglected those beautiful warm red-browns which probably accounts for the lack of depth in the sketch.  Something to work on next time, I guess!
Below are the Prismacolors that I used in this sketch (from lights to darks):
Beige
Lilac
French Grey
Cool Grey
Limepeel
Light Peach
Cloud Blue
Blush Pink
Peach
Goldenrod
Yellow Ochre
Terre Cotta
Warm Grey
Carmine Red
Light Umber
Pumpkin Orange
Burnt Ochre
Sepia
Dark Brown
Dark Umbre
Dark Purple
Black
