Last year I posted these pictures of Iona and Peter enjoying the water slide. Yesterday, God blessed us with an amazing 80 degree sunny day so naturally this meant more fun in the water. And yes, I am in a (probably short-lived) black-and-white mood. ;)

Most of our family hiked the Siouxon Trail this morning and early afternoon. Great fun—I discovered trail running is the best!! Even Iona (4yrs) came along and did great (although I did carry her the greater portion of 3 miles back to the car.) :) After a good nap on the way home though, she recovered her energy enough to join Greta and Peter on their make-shift waterslide.
