Hello and welcome! My name is Lydia vonderLuft and I am a reformed Christian girl living in the beautiful state of Washington.

A little about me...

I praise God, drink tea, study, work as a doula, ride, play the piano, teach art lessons, laugh at myself, sew clothes, burn designs into wood, run, milk goats, shop thrift-stores, workout, eat salad, do the happy dance, hug my littlest sister, wash dishes, sing randomly, do cartwheels, bake bread, love mangos, and enjoy life. =)

I am currently studying to become certified as a Doula and am potentially interested in pursuing becoming a Certified Professional Midwife.

I am a cyclist who loves to perform well (who doesn't?) on long rides. I'm also a bit of a health nut. Today was so beautiful and gorgeous! The sun came out of hiding and there was not a cloud in the sky. After a happy morning of worship followed by a meal with our Pastor and his wife, we drove over to Hockinson Park for some extended fellowship with our church family. We had a great time playing volleyball, walking in the sun, talking, and ultimate frisbee. I love the outdoors and am looking forward to spending more time out in the sun as we finally pull out of our Northwest rainy season. :)
